another update!

I was massaging her stomach, and she was very windy... trumping alot! But when i was doing it, 2 poos came out! .

Hurrah for trumps - I am sure the fact she is trumping has to be good, and even more hurrahs for two poos

Hopefully she has turned the corner and more poos will follow. Am sending loads of poo vibes for Hermy.

If you can get her to move about more now I am sure that will help too. Loads of hugs Janak, you are doing briliiantly xxx

she's not getting *better* just yet, don't give people false hope! (Deepas my sister guys!)

still not eating voluntarily, and no more poos anymore... She is all hunched up in her hutch, and still refusing to eat anything. I syringed her some pineapple juice, and she took that without any fuss actually, I think she enjoyed it. At least she has that sugar in her body now.
Still pumping loads... just FULL of air. all she wants to do is sleep, and still not moving by herself. Just about to give her recovery again, with a painkiller. I just hope the vets can fit her in tomorrow morning... I don't know whats happening to my girl...

Oh Janak, I was so hoping Hermy was starting to improve and I wish that I could help.

I would be tempted to carry on with the infacol if she seems to be gassy.

I am sure the vets will see you tomorrow morning given the circumstances. Still thinking of you and praying for some improvement.

As long as you are getting some food and water into her and she has made signs of pooing and the bunny farts must mean that things are starting to transit. Maybe it is going to be a slow recovery. Fingers crossed.

I really hope she is now on the mend and this is the start of her making a full recovery.

it looks like there is nothing coming out anymore, so I am stopping the syringing. she is very bloated, so I massaged her stomach, and she burped a few times and it relieved tension off her stomach. I keep massing her anus (please dont think bad of me!) and she is pumping a little too...
I thought it was going well, but its going to the bad side now...
I will pray for her tonight, that she will be ok to see the vets in the morning... im so worried about my baby girl... my dad won't take her to the emergency vets.
she will continue with the tummy rubs to make her pump... even though she has had a painkiller, i want to make everything comfortable for her until she goes to the vets tomorrow morning.

I will pray that she will get better. its been 5 days now... my poor girl is only a year old

Hi guys, thank you so much for the vibes...
Just an update this morning -

still no poos, she has done 2 poos in 6 days . I've stopped syringing her becuase she is so bloated and gassy. She looks uncomfortable and is in pain, looking at her expression and posture. I'm just off to the vets in the next few mins with Tracy (rngpwelfare) and hopefully they can solve this problem. the cat and rabbit receptionist was reluctant to give me an appointment when I rang them, she said i should really carry on treatment with my other vets.. rubbish! I finally got an appointment with them.

she has done a few wees on the carpet, but still no poos . will update you guys when I get back, this is worrying....
