I have just heard from John that Charlie has eaten some Hay!

I know that he doesnt have long, but if I can get him through the summer. He was in rescue last year and god only knows what before that....Id love for him to know what it was to flop in a sunbeam, munch dandilions on a late summer evening and binky in the long grass.

He deserves that at the very least.

Good news!

Charlie has munched some more today! Mr C wanted to keep him for another 24 hours to make sure all was okay and hopefully I can go and pick him up tomorrow.

Im really missing them both so I cant wait!!

He will be needing pain killers and abx from now until the awful day comes. This week has been about pulling him out of stasis and getting the pain med dosage just right so that he can enjoy some more time with us as a happy pain free bun. We can extend the time he has by getting as much hay nibbled as possible to prevent any more damage to his jaw. We will have to keep a very close eye on him.

Every day he is happy and well is a bonus.

I'm so glad he will be on pain relief. He'll feel better when he gets to lay in the sun. Thumper loves to. He's so easy going he'll just keep stretching out to stay in the sun rather than get up and move. Sort of like a sunflower turns to follow the sun. to you and a nose touch for Charlie.
