Thanks all, she is in at ten to six but we won't know anything until Monday.

I've finished work now for the holidays so at least I am here to wait on her hand-and-paw...

She's fine, she is particularly happy at the moment as she has a banananana chip   

I've not witnessed a fit since Wednesday night, and that only a brief one, which is a relief

What did the blood tests reveal? Vibe top up for Sparky    and her Humum!   

No news yet, Humum will ring in a while if we've not heard. Sian will be there till 6.30 or so...

Nothing yet. We'll phone first thing in the morning. It's possible she's had the results and passed them on to the specialist for a second opinion. We'll let you know as soon as we do  

The blood test results are fine. No sign of infection or any organ problems.

The specialist vet has recommended not starting abx as there is no real reason to. Humum and our vet have decided to start me on another course of Panacur while we wait for the EC test results, and in January decide whether I might need head x-rays. I'm not sure if the EC test would distinguish between dormant and active EC, whether there is a count of some sort involved.

But the frequency of the fitting has got much less again, and Humum has not seen any sign of one in the last four days where she has been home a lot, so she is a lot happier that any further diagnosis can wait a little longer.

Im glad that Sparky is doing okay, and glad that nothing sinister is in the bloods, although I was hoping that something simple and easily treatable would be there.
