Re: Opinions guys? U/D Back from the vets
Thanks all
I'm glad to say that the antibiotics are doing their job once again and Willow is not peeing anywhere other than her litter tray. I'm now wondering whether antibiotics long term are the solution if we can do that... Will give my vet a ring.

Re: Opinions guys? U/D Back from the vets
I have a feeling all my vet will say is we can do it, but she can't tell me how long it'll work for. Still, I'd be so much happier doing this than putting her through surgery with all the potential risks Willow has

Huge hugs, you are in an awful position trying to decide what best to do. I wish I could offer some advice but after the loss of Herbie my brain is not very clear over bunny matters.
The most important thing is Willow is very well loved and that you will always try to do right by her xxx

Re: Opinions guys? U/D Back from the vets
She's doing well Katie. As has been the case this far she has cleared up completely whilst on the anti-biotics. I even witnessed her leave her pellets, do a piddle in the litter tray and then go back to them the other day
I am now leaning towards keeping her on anti-biotics long term so long as they're doing their job. If/when they stop working there's always the option of trying the spay, but I'd rather not if there is any other solution...
My vet is giving me a call after surgery and we'll hopefully be able to get some more anti-biotics for her

Re: Opinions guys? U/D Back from the vets
Hi guys
I've spoken to the vet and she wants to try a one-week-on, one-week-off approach with the anti-biotics. If this doesn't work then she's happy for her to go onto them full time.

Re: Opinions guys? U/D Back from the vets
It's been a week tomorrow since she came off the antibiotics and it's only today that she's started to have a few "accidents", so hopefully the new arrangement will work
Thank you for the vibes

Yes Sparky. I actually started her on them tonight as there were a few more puddles when I went in and I want to catch it before it gets bad
Thank you Paul
