I just wanted to give you all a quick (and positive!) update.

It's been just over a week since Willow started the anti-biotics, and, touch-wood, she's almost completely cleared up. I left her from 7am-4.30 yesterday and there was no pee in the room at all (not even around the cage), and then when I went in this morning it was the same case again. There was only one pee in the room when I got home after a 7am-5.30 day today, too. So this is good stuff! Very Happy

If she's not reacting badly to the abx I'd be inclined to keep her on them for a while yet.

My vet has said the real test will be when she comes off the anti-biotics. She still has another week left but the vet said she might stay right for a week or 6 months, we just don't know.

Willow was supposed to take her last dose of meds tonight but her tummy has become so upset from being on anti-biotics that I decided not to.

She is off the anti-biotics now and so this is the real test. Some extra vibes would be appreciated. I so hope she continues to do well pale

Willow has been off her anti-biotics for a week now and everything is still looking good Thumbs Up

She appeared to have quite bad staining around her bum area still, but I gave her a bum bath yesterday and so now I will just keep an eye on it. It could have been from before but it was hard to tell...

So glad to hear that she is recovering.
Have you considered to get another vet just for a second opinion?
I understand that money is tight and would love to help you out.
I live between Cheltenham and Cirencester. My vet,ehm rather Bertie's and Bubbles vet is located in Cirencester named the Sidings Vet Surgery. Although none of mine were seriously I'll, knock wood, they are looked after and Bertie was spayed there.
We could arrange and if you sent me your postcode I am happy to provide transport too.
