Gloria not well today

I am so hoping Gloria is eating again.

Well it seems to be over. I left her in the hutch overnight with Wolfie and she wasn't interested in eating. Didn't touch anything this morning either, but she was quite active and busy and didn't look to be in pain. When I came home from work, Christopher had put them away. Went out with food and although she wasn't tearing into it like she normally does, she was eating.

On reflection, I think it was the bonding session on Saturday that might have done it. She was top bun out of the pair and used to bonk Wolfie. But over the last year ever since Felix has arrived nearby, Wolfie has been a lot more dominant. I think that when I tried to do the bonding on Saturday, the tables turned on Gloria's dominance. Wolfie wouldn't let her anywhere near Felix and chased her away quite aggressively. She seemed pretty submissive and I noticed that when she was in the small bonding area with Wolfie and Felix, she kept away from Felix and when she was near him when she was eating, she kept looking over at Wolfie. It was as if she was very nervous of him. I think it must have stressed her out much more than I thought, and I think not being top bun any more has maybe upset her.

She seems well enough in herself, quite lively, but she seems very pensive and not her usual self. Hopefully, it will pass and they will establish their rapport again. I will definitely lay off the bonding until next year when it is lighter nights.

I am glad to hear the gorgeous Gloria is getting back to nomal I hope she is soon back to her usual diva-ish self.

Bunnies are such complicated little souls.

God I hate it when they just don't pick up straight away. Glad she is on the mend now, Poor Gloria XX
