Bella not right, (she lost her battle)
Bella is ill, shes not eating or drinking, all she wants to do is sleep, I thought it was maybe just the cold yesterday but theres no improovement, had to clean her bum shes in a mess, lying wrapped in a towel on my knee hardle moving. Called vet he's freed a space for her just after 2. In tears dont know what to do.

Re: Bella not right, (she lost her battle)
Really upset, dont know how to feel vet had to hug me saying I didnt do anything wrong. Shes REALLY bad, might not pull through. She was given 4 injections & fluid injected all over her body, her core temp s 97 it should be 103 a think. Shes on a heat pad indoors, needs tube fed little & often, had to dig out the hand blender & mx her food, veg, water & hay into a paste, cant find a tube with big enough end (icing gun would be ideal) so using a medican spoon, syringe water. Her bodys went into shock & stomachs stopped working. So its just seaping out her back end. Was in there 40 mins nearly. Shes to go back tomorow.

Re: Bella not right, (she lost her battle)
Oh my gosh Lynn I'm so sorry!
I wonder what on earth could have caused this.
I've never heard of blending hay up to feed them?
I'll be thinking of you and Bella
Please get better little one!

The sudden temp change, shes sensitive albino traits. He was shocked at how sudden & low it went -9 omg. Keeps reassuring me it wasnt my fault, it was I put trust in her house being warm like charlies.

Re: Bella not right, (she lost her battle)
I blame myself but vet & friend said not to. Vet says albinos r highly sensitive, maybe he was just saying that to help me feel better, even if she had loads of bedding he thinks she would have still ben ill, she was loads now made no difference.

Re: Bella not right, (she lost her battle)
Oh Lynn
Try and calm yourself down. You will be no use to Bella at all if you are seriously wound up. (I mean this in the kindest way possible and I'm saying it for yours and Bella's good )
Is she any more alert AT ALL?

She seems to be. But short term. Daddy got a take away for dinner so i didnt have to worry about feeding kids lol better than nothing. She's deffo cosey, wont be able to put her back out when she recovers WHEN. So little floppy will go to rescue when they have space.
