Bertie poorly:-( Update 08.03????

I have no useful experience in a pair of bunnies but want to offer my support and love and hope that you figure it out. Poor Bertie and you.

I agree with Woodwench - is there some way you could create a divide whereby they can still see and touch each other, but Bertie can get out of trouble if he needs to?

If he is still very much dependent and bonded with Bubbles then I would be cautious to split them for fear of him going downhill

My dear friends,
We are all sad tonight.
Mr.Handsome has been pts by the vet earlier. He came out to us as it was felt that it wasnt fair for Bertie to have the stress of traveling to the surgery.
He had deteriorated over the last two days and wouldn't eat, being withdrawn and a very noisy breathing.

That's really sad. You've had it rough enough lately without having to say goodbye to him. But take comfort from knowing you did everything possible and at the last he was in familiar, loved surroundings, without stress.
